    Yep, now (well, mid season) is the time to do it. Big upside but not in the time frame that works for the Cubs.

    He's an idiot in many ways, but he seems to overvalue his own overpaid pitchers in trade value, according to other GM's. Unlikely you'd be able to "steal" one. (though in this market I'm no longer sure that 23-25M per season is even overpaid anymore for dependable starters)

    Not likely any ace caliber pitchers being traded this year except MAYBE Lee Personally I'd settle for a #2/3 caliber guy right now

    I would give up Sanchez plus Lind or Francisco plus Rasmus or Pillar or another non-Stroman/Nolin prospect to get him (though they prob don't want Colby as a rental I realize)

    It's more that every time a metallijay/disposablehero/flamingweasel got banned, a new account would show up immediately, posting high volume negativity crap just like you do. Could it be a coincidence? Yes. More likely it's just you again and denying it, and posting an occasional decent comment just to draw less attention. And you just finally realized that using Metallica song names for your login e-mail account was a bad idea.

    Yep, not a great MLB track record (only ~150 IP), but only 25 years old with some upside, Australian (where they supposedly get developped more slowly than in NA, and he's been KILLING it in AAA. I'm actually excited to see him. If he could be a legit # 3/4 caliber starter would be huge. And even is he is no better than an acceptable #5 he still has options and is good to have in the system.

    I think you're overestimating his offensive potential #9 hiter seems likely which is fine but I can't see him approaching a .270 ish career BA like White
