    I kind of doubt Howard would be a roadblock. I think the price would also be low enough the Rays could look to do it, although perhaps picking up LoMo changes that. Rangers seem to like Fielder as DH, so I could see that being possible, and then trade Moreland. I suspect Oakland will look to sign Lee instead.

    The officials get a mandate to watch for 3 second violations or something? That's 4 or 5 already, and it's still in the first.

    Makes no sense for him to waive it. He's hitting in one of the best hitting parks, in a lineup that will inflate some of his numbers, and on a team that should be considered a legit contender. Going almost anywhere else probably hurts his next contract.
