I think it's pretty clear at this point that there's not much use in continuing to try to find ways of dealing with it. He's going to have to change his grip (and possibly fastball type). Maybe Rich Hill will succeed in petitioning baseball to allow him to wear tape on his finger. If that happens, then maybe Sanchez has a shot at keeping his current repertoire. -

I don't think so (it should just grow itself back out). They experimented with removing parts of it in the past, but I think that was to combat the blisters. -

Apparently the blisters are caused from his fastball. One advantage of the pen is he could throw a much higher percentage of curves - and that is a really nasty pitch for him. I do kind of wonder if pitching out of the pen might cause the blisters to build up more than as a starter where he has more time in between appearances though. -

He really has. He has issues when his swing gets long (like most guys), but his power is legit. -
The problem with the Bucks (just from eyeballing it during the playoffs) is they tend to gunk up the inside and have trouble defending the 3. As soon as we started hitting shots outside in our series, we won four in a row. I feel like GS would have absolutely shredded them from outside the arc. Who knows though, maybe GS wouldn't have been able to handle Giannis inside like we did.

I think when the playoffs started there were only two teams that had a realistic shot at taking out GS, and that's Houston (who failed) and us. I don't know if we'll succeed or not, but I think we have the team makeup to give the Warriors a lot of problems.

Who is better: Trent Thornton or Ryan Borucki

Thornton has a higher ceiling, Borucki has a higher floor (imo). Realistically both will likely be legit back end starting pitchers at the major league level. If Borucki retains his velocity gain from the preseason, he becomes significantly more interesting as it'll make his plus changeup play up even more. -
If you're the Bucks, why would you have help defense on FVV when he's under the net? He's probably not going to score from there, or even try to.

This isn't the game to leave him out there chucking them, unless it turns into a blowout. If he can't make it, get FVV or Powell in there.
