    They were a good candidate to exceed projections...but projections had them below .500. I tend to agree though. There were many figuring they would be winning in shootouts.

    Still if an ump doesn't call time you don't get off the base. Not 100% sure what I would have instinctively done though

    Rule 7.06( Comment: Under 7.06( when the ball is not dead on obstruction and an obstructed runner advances beyond the base which, in the umpire’s judgment, he would have been awarded because of being obstructed, he does so at his own peril and may be tagged out. This is a judgment call. The big question is why not call time.

    In honour of the 427th selection in our initial DDL draft I will be bidding on an item in the Joba Chamberlain's contents auction this Saturday. With any item I win in the bid being used as a DDL prize.

    Contreras already debuted. I mean this works in L54's favour as he can now draft another player and count WilCont as an FA pick up but I am a stickler for rules.

    I agree that it was the change to Fantrax. I also believe that draft pick trades hurt parity. The first year in LoD was insane. Speedy and I made the finals based on 2 hitters. I am the most trade adverse of all the BORED members so I am getting down voted regardless but wanted my say. No one in this league is going full Gibbers but he should be the warning against

    I know I am in the minority here but allowing future draft picks to be traded too soon is how we got into this mess of the 2021 draft being worthless. I said it 5 years ago in that other league and I still believe it...the next years draft picks should not start until the current draft starts

    My 2021 2nd and 3rd to Dinger for the current pick. I select Luis Gil. If his trade window passed. He selects Luis Gil and trade him to me.

    Not sure when in July you showed up, but we had major non baseball arguments spill over into almost every thread. While there are some carry over feuds from it we are trying to keep it as baseball related as possible. And welcome Laika!

    Because I use logic? Anyway I will throw on my Mod hat for a second. I like these kind of feuds in the fantasy leagues. Spices it up. However, it does not fit within the forum rules. If anyone has issue with it happening in this thread or any of the fantasy league threads, please PM BTS, myself or new mod Laika, and we will do something about it.

    It really is just simple math though. We have 15 prospect spots, of which people love to use on guys that are 4 to 5 years away. If you draft well or really love your spects you aren't going to have room for the picks. While there still may be some solid ceiling guys left...the space just isn't there. 2021 that will probably start happening in round 2
