    I think the most amazing thing is that's he's actually having more career upside than his girlfriend who has dropped to second rate MLS sideline reporter. Good thing she turned to RR to prepare her for comeback.

    I'd think they'd only do that if they talked to Happ and his agent first (not that they have to). I know teams have done this before rather than pay the buyout but it's considered a poor people/players association move.

    yeah but I figure Panik has solidified 2B for them so Scutaro and his back issues are likely not worth the $6M. I'm not sure he's worth it for anyone but I'm guessing they would move him for virtually nothing.

    More D1 scholarships went out to GTA residents than NYC last year. If anyone thinks the Raptors (likely Vince Carter in this case) aren't a factor on GTA amateur basketball they are crazy. Now we need more elite coaches and programs. Maker coming here to play is a great start.

    Yep Graveman too. I understand Boxy not going for him but I think I was 14th or something like that. In Fantasy Challenge where you we carry over the waiver wire, Moya went before it got to me. I'd like to thank GD again for being bottom of the waiver

    BTS holdout on the hockey pool until they offer you something worth your while. I got to say I'm impressed Moya fell to me. I'm not sure what he'll be but he'll make it past my cutdowns for sure.

    Mets have Murphy but he's not under the radar and a one year guy. Cubs have Valbuena but the Jays already dumped him. Scutaro will be available for free. Weeks had a rebound year and will be free agent (and screams AA guy).

    We will probably have our graduation party in Florida in May 2016. One of our profs has a connect with IMG Academy in Bradenton and they will give us a place to stay on the academy. We'd then hopefully take the Rays up.

    because other fans, jerseys, a stadium I don't go to and personalities of players are important in cheering a team. I'd like to add that our Sports Marketing teacher called all the front offices and asked for them to send their marketing dept. to visit. The Rays were the only one of two to respond. They will send a representative and also offered for the program to visit the Trop at any time. The other to respond was the Jays..."we regret to inform you"

    I like to be right. I predicted that they would win 40 of their first 70 perfectly.

    I'm intrigued to know what Happ gets in FA. My best guess is that he gets 2 years $15M.

    If only someone in the FO saw an guy that had a 100 point increase in BABIP and a career high in HR/FB ratio (which he actually almost matched this year) and thought...maybe it will be tough for him to repeat and maybe we should extract max value out of him. Seriously there were two options that made sense in this past off season with Rasmus, trade him or extend him. All the people that said "don't worry about trading him, just qualifying offer him" look pretty stupid now. On a side note, no one in baseball has cost themselves more money this year than Colby. He's the anti BJ Upton.

    I think the poster was making a comment on the over-reaction of the fans in that case as most wanted to see more JPA at the end of that season.
