    I haven't watched enough of Webster to know his tendencies but I figure he's a guy that keeps the ball down which isn't a specialty of Gose's but go with Pompey over Pillar.

    I missed the start of the game...any reason why Pillar is playing against a RHP?

    Does he realize that Beltran hasn't put up positive value since he was 35, Ibanez had a good year at 37, and, only the fact that he was willing to sign for near league min. after that, has kept him in the bigs as near replacement level. At least give good examples. I didn't read much past that.

    A solid excuse in this case. By the way I heard an interesting JPA story last week and I'm trying so hard to get someone to confirm it and then I'll spill it. If it's true it just adds to the JPA legacy in this city.

    I have 5 picks in first round of the waiver draft. I'll rebuild my relievers properly this year. PS until you pass Boxy (so Monday) you still aren't allowed to address the DDL'ers.
