  1. I don't know...we seem to have you stuttering
  2. He shouldn't be SS (only played 7 games there in minors), that chart is still for 2014. He's still a rookie so it's just Yahoo Fantasy sports decision. I think he'll open as 2B and OF in Yahoo. Fantrax, CBS and ESPN all have him at OF only.
  3. Same here (17 years ago to be exact) loved that stadium and city, so much less busy than LA. Only issue I had was staying in Palm Springs for that 3 week trip it we had two highway issues with border patrol stopping every car on a highway. One was a 3 hour delay.
  4. Great story, great velocity. If he's healthy it's a great pickup. No reason to think he's not healthy. I expect the Red Sox will be on him.
  5. I'm really intrigued what position they put Guerrero at. My thoughts were they'd have him at OF to start the season and have no clue what the new regime in LA view him as.
  6. I'd say you are biased by a short sample size of a misused Bonifacio. He was an above average defensive OF last year and still provides value with his legs as well. I remember when JFaS said that Bonifacio would be the Jays best option at 2B last year. I'm not sure he would have had the same season in Toronto (and his season was pretty lucky as it was) but he would have been better than Goins.
  7. Easy to get to, terrible to get out of. Think of a full dome, everyone in one parking lot...and most going to the Gardiner after. That's what it was like when I was there 1997. I know they have re-opened another gate this season and push for people to take public transit.
  8. Sick and left a shift early...AND CAME UP WITH A DEAL WITH Z3r0s. f*** you all...mostly Z3r0s who wouldn't part with Yordano. I don't like the deal all that much as I gave up one of my favourite pitching prospects and a guy that tore s*** up in the PCL But my love for Vandy pitchers is too much.
  9. As I've said before responding to someone you think is a troll from the other board, is grounds for a board timeout. If you think someone is a troll do not reply. There are no current duplicate accounts from any other point in this boards history.
  10. Never been done for Sickels as far as I know...but here is something from the BA top 100. From there you can get an idea of how the lower the ranking the lower the chance of success. http://www.beyondtheboxscore.com/2013/6/3/4386214/how-well-does-the-baseball-america-prospect-top-100-estimate-the-top
  11. Smarter than King that could put you in some elite company...like with Ang's Donkey
  12. I actually meant I'd choose someone to take my team, someone who will give it back to me when I'm ready to return. I'm taking on a 2nd and possibly 3rd job over the next few weeks to pay for my trip to the IMG academy. I'd like to be in a financial position to stay in Florida and work (intern, likely unpaid) with the academy. My prof was there this month and talked me up to people and wants me to apply when there, including his former student who is now with the Bradenton Pirates.
  13. I'm considering giving up my team. Will make a decision in the next few weeks.
  14. You are up. I will insure this is brought up in March. I want your predictions in writing. If you do better than Steamer...than you can post about it on every single thread. If you don't you shut the f*** up and admit you don't know s***.
  15. Best pitcher I saw in the minors last year. At least of the guys that were not already on the radar.
  16. Carpenter went from being a throw-in 3 times (The Pedro Feliz salary dump, the Happ deal and the Farrell deal), to be being dumped by the Sox ... to being a steal in a trade.
  17. But the injuries...Jays have the worst luck
  18. I honestly believe the Rays would ask for Hutchison from the Jays. Rays have shown time and time again that they will chase players that will remain relatively cost controlled through arbitration. They will get someone like him somewhere.
  19. Injuries happen, you have one of the oldest teams in the league. Right now the offensive depth I'd be willing to play is Travis.
  20. Now take one of Bautista, EE, Reyes, Donaldson out of the lineup. Zobrist and a progressing Travis are insurance for these guys too so if you believe the Jays are a WS contender...Zobrist is the ultimate player for this team.
  21. for the name alone
  22. Because it is a 4 win improvement on what they have... It would put them as the best team on paper. If Travis progresses it gives them OF and IF depth. Because you have no clue what "good defense" is. If Zobrist leaves he leaves with a pick attached to him. Now I ask you why TBR trades him for Osuna?
  23. One member of the Rays front office said "I 100% would rather have Chad Jenkins than Sanchez". Not saying this person has much for influence but if they have any say at all Sanchez will not be acceptable in any deal. Now Norris on the other hand...
  24. It's the anti-Rizzo/AA mentality, constantly building a 40 man without too much thought of the starting 8. It can be frus"ray"ting to watch but I'm pretty sure they will get everyone on the team, not named Longoria, 300 to 500 PA's. I'm a big Ryan Brett supporter too and hoped he was the injury move by mid-season.
  25. it's okay BTS dumped the Rays anyway. I will speak on behalf of the Rays on this one and say it's pretty blah but 1 year contracts are never the worst. It could mean a Zobrist trade is to follow which will be interesting.
