    Even I predicted 85. I'd also like to add that I threw in the "huge trade in June" prediction. I was always terrible with getting my summer months correct.

    Wait these vignettes are arranged ahead of time...I feel so deceived. I thought Hazel Mae, non-monetarily, paid the athletes in these stories. I love stories like this as it allows the fans to form an opinion on how it affects the team. If this story came out in May when the team was 23 and 29, some fans probably would have s*** on Jose saying that Travis is batting well and Jose should shut the f*** up. Overall I don't have an opinion on it. Melissa Austria (who still has the bit on GotStyle's site) should step up now and reimburse Devon for the PR of it.

    Best part was that the Cubs played the Marlins on the 30th anniversary of the release of the movie.

    I've talked about this a bit recently... IMO, much of baseball's douches and heroes are media created or are judged based on their ethnic background. Machado had a really bad weekend last year, nothing else he's done makes me think that he is that type of person all the time.

    Swing and Defense. Although I like that he was told by the O's, MLB, his agent to distance himself from the Miami crowd after the Bosch stuff and he pretty much said Yonder is family (he's married to his sister) and if hanging with them costs me endorsements than those aren't endorsements I want. He had a really bad weekend last year, but I don't really care about this "disrespecting the game" s***. Keep in mind Bonds and ARod were among my favourite all time players.
