  1. I bet Storen offs himself if Soriano takes his closer job again.
  2. Pillar's flip just broke Saunders leg
  3. safe to say that Loup did not put on 25 lbs. of muscle this off-season
  4. I see it as a straight out negotiating ploy (but could be hatred as well). I'm betting this is going to be common all year.
  5. I'm thoroughly intrigued by the moves being made, but the passion isn't anywhere close to what I had for the Rays the past 3 years. It's not 1a and 1b like I thought it would be when AA and the Beest were gone.
  6. this stuff fascinates me. in no way would I figure ad revenue to be as low as it is, and I certainly didn't figure subscription revenue would be so high.
  7. if for no other reason...buying a jeep 4x4
  8. it make no sense to me but they are in an insane position right now. They already have $84M committed to next year and have 11 going to free agency (Bats, EE, Dickey, Storen, Cecil, Chavez, Smoak, Saunders, Thole, Barney and Floyd). Even though the back end of that is inconsequential, I think they are search for bodies/options for next year.
  9. no one has ever been able to give me a good reason why but Canadian ad revenue doesn't work in the same way. Blue Jays top value to Rogers is playing their own ads. This old article from Huffington Post shows best how minor ad revenue really is in Canada. Sportsnet only brought in an ad revenue total of $82M in 2012 (in an Olympic year) http://images.huffingtonpost.com/2014-02-19-rogers1-thumb.png And over a quarter of that came from hockey...despite barely showing games. http://images.huffingtonpost.com/2014-02-19-rogers2-thumb.png I honestly don't know if this is because of Rogers using half of their ad space on themselves but compare that to Modern Family reruns charging $150K per ad....there is obviously something that doesn't add up for Canadian ad revenue.
  10. and if the Jays didn't sign him and had injuries you'd be comfortable?
  11. I draw the line at East Coast food talk though...Super Mods have mod banning powers
  12. Fool me once...
  13. I had a conversation with someone who cited Pujols as a player that shows old players can still rake. Worst part is that he's only a year older than Jose.
  14. King already has a full set of pics of everyone all of us have ever dated
  15. I'll go full fist
  16. Ignore list, stop referencing that old board, shut the f*** up, move on. It's simple. We let other bad posters from the old board here and they became productive posters. Everyone knows that BluRay is going to have a short leash but I am going to keep my usual rules. If you are responding to him...then DO NOT ASK FOR HIM TO BE BANNED. And we've gone an entire off-season without mod bashing. Don't start that s*** now. Any anti-Mod rants directed about me is fine. I am a big boy and can handle it.
  17. from where it came from at the start of the off-season I am quite happy. It is adequate and could be much better being used properly. Will be an interesting year, which is exciting.
  18. He's not aging?
  19. And jump superstars like Scott Schebler, Yorman, and Jake Cave? MLB's version of Tank Nation
  20. congrats for being the ignore list. f*** with my family that's fine...but don't take shots at the Model's looks.
  21. that's not a photo shoot http://baseballhotcorner.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/Greene-and-Sheen.jpg
  22. Means King has to wait another 3 years for pubes of his own...but still kills it in this deal. Trape!
  23. why lie to the newbies...he's pretty dumm
