  1. stop showing the f***ing beard people...it's just going to encourage others to do it.
  2. Yeah it was never going to be straight up but there were a lot of back and forth pieces. Min changes his mind a lot. Nope the very slight upgrade from my #2 to his #1 was a equalizer when he wouldn't move from Saunders. I have to say that you should look at Saunders without the Blue (Jays) coloured googles. He's striking out at a 30% rate and being carried by his .400 BABIP. Guy is hitting 60 points over his career average. I got a nice run out of him...and maybe I should have shopped him as a 150 wRC guy but I didn't think he had enough value. He's also 3 years older than Hos. Hos is running a high BABIP too but he's doing it while running a 13% LD rate. Makes me think he can high BABIP again.
  3. I was told there would be no robots in this. I had Machado and Tropeano but didn't want to go against the Rays. Stupid me.
  4. Confirmed. We do much better business together live
  5. That's good. I love my lineup tonight, which never bodes well.
  6. TheBigHurl is in. I will never remember everyday though.
  7. #1 pick, also known as Victor(y), has an offer of a top 100 dynasty asset. Will make official whenever someone sobers up...although giving everyone else a small window to get their bid in.
  8. I don't actually disagree with you with most of this...negative things can effect players and teams. But positiveness cannot make a player better than their true talent. In the end this isn't really an advanced stats or projections argument.

Yeah I was having trouble fitting a statement into Twitter so I went to Sportsnet FB...I accept the shame you set upon me. Funny enough Sportsnet PM'd me and asked where I got this info. Obviously their fact checkers can't figure out Google.

NBA Deputy Commish in 1996 (in reference to Abdul-Rauf staying in the dressing room for the U.S. Anthem. NBA deputy commissioner Russ Granik said Tuesday that Abdul-Rauf violated a league rule that requires players, coaches and trainers to "stand and line up in a dignified posture" during the U.S. and Canadian anthems. "The NBA's rule on this point is very clear, and all our rules apply equally to all players," he said. Time to see if the "and Canadian" actually means something in his statement.
  12. So what you are saying is that you could have replaced JD and Bautista with me and GD and assuming similar motivation we would have done as well.

That was the worst of the bad calls to date.
  15. In Spanky's defense he's missed 2 days since then
  16. or Chris Sale's...or Joe Panik, Sonny Gray, Kolten Wong, Kyle Gibson, AJ Pollock, Michael Wacha, Garrett Richards, etc. Just about every College player outside of the top few guys get thrown into this "safe" category.
  17. it's become an incorrect narrative of late, that "expected to quick to the majors" as safe picks low ceiling picks. I don't agree at all. As for the OP, I don't think Pentecost or Harris even come close to belonging in that category.
  18. Turns out he's a Toronto guy. Sunk money into writing a book about his heckling...same time as the Real Estate crisis (which was his field). Bad combo and went broke. i sat one section over from the cowbell guy last year. He told us that he started bringing the cowbell to drown out the Happy Heckler
  19. hits...all hits are pitchers fault. same that every hitter should take the down the middle fastball out of the park
  20. yeah I thought there was no damage you could do letting him go the distance
  21. a little too solid for my liking, but I bet she'd help a co-ed slo pitch team
