  1. 1 win at home...outside of that it has been 1 semi-final appearance (a 4th in 1990) in 20 world cups. Two semi final appearances in the Euro as well (well one 3rd place finish was when it was just 4 teams in the tournament). They sit perfectly with Portugal as the most overrated outside of the top 10 in the world team
  2. All my points came from three players. I hit nothing with my batters at all. VDub had an amazing run considering how little her pitching got.
  3. A good campaign manager. He also respects Relievers more than anyone in this pool and has continually taken advantage of this in trade (again he is 12 games over .500 in saves and holds...Slayers are next best in the league at 6 games over .500). Amazing that if you take away holds and saves, Speedy is like 8.5 games ahead in the division. But outside of that he's pretty easy to deal with.
  4. Since Dinger took me down 10-3 in week 1...he is 70-76-9, I am 65-75-13. I've picked up 9 games on him in the past 7 weeks. Now 9 back of him, 6 behind Speedy. I'm way more confident than any 15th place team should be.
  5. I should have traded Conforto to Boxy as soon as he started jerking him off.
  6. isn't he 2 years below average age? BA on him...put on 4 MPH last year, now another 2 MPH this year. Ranked Miami Marlins #17 prospect after the 2015 season Premium Paddack went 11-0, 0.46 with 134 punchouts in 75 innings as a Cedar Park (Texas) High senior in 2015, and the Marlins gambled that they could sign him away from a Texas A&M pledge--and it worked. Miami secured Paddack for $400,000, more than double the value for his draft slot in eighth round. While still a work in progress, he looked dominant in 45 innings in the Rookie-level Gulf Coast League after signing. Paddack showed command of three pitches, including a double-plus changeup, in recording a 39-to-7 strikeout-to-walk ratio. His fastball sat 93-94 mph--up from 89-92 in high school--and his slider shows promise, though it's new to his arsenal. Paddack has plenty of projection in his lean 6-foot- 4 frame, because scouts believe he'll eventually grow to 6-foot-6 with plenty of room for good weight. One evaluator saw similarities with Cardinals starter Michael Wacha because of Paddack's outstanding changeup and connection to Texas A&M, but he stopped short of a direct comparison. The Marlins could assertively promote Paddack to low Class A Greensboro.
  7. I needed him to pitch well for my DDL matchup...so I knew he'd be getting rocked. I had Schoop in my lineup but was over by a small amount.
  8. Disco Sucks...plus I needed three players with 7200 left
  9. 10 in. Proud to say that I'm rocking a Ryan Schimpf lineup tonight. I have 3 against Desclafani tonight.
  10. I just read headlines. Good to know that I've got you here to keep me in line.
  11. Sammy has a pitcher give up the most Earned Runs in an inning in the history of the MLB...yet is sweeping the pitching stats. Who's he playing again?
  12. Gavin Floyd retirement announcement to follow

he's a whiny little bitch who demanded a trade like he's a superstar...but surprised they couldn't do something for him yesterday to at least upgrade somewhere. A conditional 5th is pretty much nothing and I don't even know Harrington.

    This was amazing. http://globalnews.ca/news/2786023/fan-finds-lightnings-nhl-draft-strategy-in-hotel-lobby-posts-to-twitter/
  15. He's a pretty frustrating guy to own. Still looking like a perfectly even trade though
  16. Me too...Dinger's downfall is my only shot at ever seeing a playoff. beyond self serving reasons, there haven't been as many ups and downs in teams as I thought there would be in this pool but this is the best that the bottom through to middle has looked in this pool ever. I'm good with whatever process is voted on though.
  17. super minor one would be 30 man rosters until April 30th.
  18. I have 8 left I think. None are probably 60 OFP players...nor are probably the ones I picked considering I got my top 3 after my first pick.
  19. sorry I didn't even know I had another pick in this thing. Will Benson, OF, Cleveland
  20. First Cheng cheng Chang and now Drew Ward...did you watch yesterday's HR derby on the USS Midway? I'll assume that a former Jays farm hand would be next.
  21. about as unsexy as it gets as far as prospects go, but amazing control and command. Dan Haren upside and Josh Tomlin type profile as a worst case.
  22. ignoring everyone else (which isn't that hard to do) would 4 years of control of Donaldson for 3 years of control for Lawrie be more lopsided than 5 years of control for Pedro for 2 years control of Delino? By straight WAR it's a 20 fWAR net for the Expos (24.4 to 4.4). Right now Donaldson vs Lawrie is 12.3 to 1.1. It really might get there.
  23. that was my intention. A fired up Spanky is good for the DDL. Keeps everyone in check
