At a minimum his jersey should be in the Marlins Locker Room section of Cooperstown forever, the way Thurman Munson has for the Yankees (they actually left his spot in the actual Yankees dressing room empty as well) I don't remember a section in the Hall for players that passed away during their career but it would be a nice touch. MLB went from 1979 (Munson) to 1992 (Kile) without an active player passing away. The next 24 years I like there have been about 10. JoFez, OT, Adenhart, Lidle, Tommy Hanson, Halman, Hancock and Joe Kennedy as the ones I can remember. Was Jose Lima still in the league when he passed away?
