    He's questionable to start the season from one Detroit blog I read. With a normal returning from surgery prospect you can keep them in extended spring training until you know they are game ready (velocity etc.) that would appear to be circumventing the rule 5 process. I suppose if you can start him on the DL and get the rehab days in the minors to see what you have though.

    Can you DL a Rule 5 to start the season? If yes I think extended ST and Ziomek makes sense.

    Anthony Santander is a switch hitter who last year hit both sides equally, just turned 22. Has some pop, is said to be a decent athlete and Shatkins know him well. Jays have too many 4th OF's now and lack starters but it's worth bringing him in and letting him compete, worst case is it costs you a small amount of money and send him back.

    I worked at 6:00 am Friday through Sunday and then went to the Marlies game today. I still haven't recovered from getting Pneumonia when I was in Vegas. Good chance Conforto is on the move. I think I promised two people that if I was moving him I'd give them a chance to top the offer. This is your chance. Tomorrow is my only day off until Mid December so hit me up. And yeah Hosmer sux, Saunders Sux, Storen Sux, Robles will sux, Dewees sux, It's now down that 17 waiver pick upgrade now.

    Then they should work in Ticket sales or concession stands on the side. This is the CBA, they are never going to fight for people not on the 40 man. Just won't happen.

    I'd like to see the 25 man increased until April 30th (26 or 27 early in the season). Down to 30 in September is fine, but still excessive.
