100% wrong on this one. A friend of a friend puked at Shoeless Joe's and they were (rightfully) going to kick him/us out. Longoria and Archer talked to the manager and said "they are with us" just because Nox and I were wearing Rays gear. We were allowed to stay as long as the one guy didn't drink. Longoria came over and thanked us for being fans.

Philly because I hate the city....but also Atlanta as there is recent success history and the fan base has new stadium expectations. It's also one of the least saber friendly fanbases.

33rd pick is not that big of a deal. They have very little on the payroll and if their pitching works out the way they hope, they might compete. If it doesn't you deal EE for more pitching.

Perfect they would learn things like loving a burro and posting on BJMB. For some reason I'm okay with this. Ang what is your opinion of the Buscones, International Draft and academies in the DR? I know we once talked about the quality of some of the facilities or lack of some facilities but what about the system itself. Are there good systems out there for kids before they sign?

every Dominican complex these days do that supposedly. But they are often dealing with a very blank slate. Many of these kids are pulled from school at 11 or 12 to play ball. You have that year or two before they hit short season ball in the states to teach them simple things like reading at a 4th grade level (in Spanish even), speaking a little English. Simple banking and ordering food. Buying groceries, cooking, using cell phones. All while trying to develop ball players. This is why I say the Buscones (at least the bad ones) have to go.

Talking more from a pure value point of view, 4 years of Osuna probably provide less than 2 years Puig IMO (then you are giving the negative asset in the deal as well). The team is not in position to move Osuna at this point...but if they develop someone to replace him (or get a replacement+ back) they should consider exploiting this reliever market. I'd take the under on Osuna at 2.0 wins as well.

I think I would too (And I was going to make a joke that it would take a Tulo finding the fountain of youth to land Puig). I've become a believer in "fit" though. Seeing as the Jays F.O. has never been linked to Puig, I think that Shatkins don't feel he is.

We'll see the SSS 1.99 ERA as a reliever posted soon enough (probably a SN tweet). 22.2 innings 4.8 K/9, 29 hits, 10 BB and LHH had a 1.025 OPS against (104 batters faced)

Still doesn't change that McGregor's PPV's have 1.650M buys and the next card will have 200K. It's like most sports it's driven by stars.

Although measurements don't appear to be your strength, you are not 100% incorrect as buy rates are at their all time best when McGregor fights. Non-McGregor fights are near all time lows.
