  1. Just because you win it doesn't mean that you get to tell the rest of the league what to do...now go back to jerking off on to your DDL trophy. NJH, I had a great idea, you should put the google docs page on the initial post.
  2. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1uAz9R58lpkPNj1jjE4eyf3xQyF8GVaIikwquSHGF5X8/edit#gid=1001364216
  3. a thinly veiled attempt to get his bestie Clayton Kershaw to agree to play.
  4. Wasn't me but considering the source I'd guess that it was something like "Jimenez released, joins We Ain't Petty"
  5. I only have 2012 which I can't post as I made a beyond Keith Law'ian error in prospect judgement. Jimenez was 13th with Boxy being lowest on him (24th) and Sir BJay being highest on him (7th)
  6. Do I have to open the season with Dinger every year? Can we just pick up players we traded for or is it preferred that the commissioner Team does it?
  7. What time do the cuts happen. I have to research my draft picks tomorrow as Tuesday and Wednesday could be write-offs.
  8. They really like the 28 year old Cuban?
  9. Braves continue their dedication to bringing in vets for the new stadium. Braves acquire 2B Brandon Phillips from the Cincinnati Reds for LHP Andrew McKirahan and RHP Carlos Portuondo. Fringe prospects at best. In the end I don't mind it. It's just $14M and they could move him at the deadline for better.
  10. every team should have a Brock Holt. Plays every position, great baserunner, never hear him complain. Signs before arbitration at less than what he should. Even in his range issues last year he still had 7 DRS. Plus he went to Rice, so I assume he's not a complete idiot.
  11. P2F has it in his spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing
  12. I'll need the lawyer when MLB steals my idea and gives no credit...and then King sues me for the same thing.
  13. I'll start working on various proposals to Manfred shortly. When I need a lawyer I'll call.
  14. Still a showcase week would be interesting. Combined with all star week maybe...gets all the scouts/GMs in one city. Could be called the summer meetings even. Three games per day at 3 sites would be 45 games (3 for each team) over a 5 day stretch. Have a HR derby and all star game at the end. Marketed correctly it could be a profitable week and gives MiLB a week off
  15. Confirmed...everyone knows to come to me for waiver trades. I like to be done in 1 day
  16. Tyler Wade at 101
  17. I have many bad photos of the BP list. I can either type it up or I can forward it on Facebook to someone. I can't post save the photos as I'm at work.
  18. Adames at 10 is huge. I think I win money from J4L19 with my aggressive ranking of Senzel.
  19. I know a few which have it I will ask
  20. Nice choice. I hope he strikes a friendship with Osuna just for the Osuna Tabata puns.
  21. 19 keepers set. Need Conforto moved to TCA. Meso and Kendrys moved to KK. Sam Dyson to me and set as a keeper
  22. For Participation I was only quoting team sports numbers. When I was talking about Auto Racing it was a Poll for what if your favourite sport to watch on TV. As for Horse Racing (A sport IMO, but I grew up with it in my family). I don't count viewership for it worldwide unless it's at the highest level. Some tracks are putting out horses that would have the baseball equivalent of 12 year old house league. I know Terminator was looking for a poll. Harris does one every year and results come out in February or March. http://static5.businessinsider.com/image/56eafd6c91058428008b71f6-800-600/01.png
  23. A quote from CBS As for TV rightsholders this was explained during the NHL playoffs. TV ratings go way up in the OT (Extra Innings too) but the ad time is sold ahead of time at minimum ad rates for "Extra ad time". So they are selling the OT time at what they sell ad time for poker and darts at. I'm going to assume this is also how they do it in the states. So there is no benefit to anyone but the fan to have long extra inning games.
  24. Baseball's elitist "America's game" attitude is what has the game without young fans. f*** history, do what you have to do continue to build. Who cares if diehard fans hate it, we aren't going anywhere. Plus we will die eventually and there will be no one left watching/playing the game (I'm being extreme here because I'm talking to you and you always make your points to the extreme). Honestly maybe it's my love of management that allows me to take a non fans view on these things.
