  1. Copeland is probably worse than Doubront. He's already on the 40-man though.
  2. Anthony Alford! Because why not. I'll email Min.
  3. Mitch Moreland has been crushing from my bench for a week and I'm not sure what to do about it.
  4. No. I don't think Correa will crush right out of the gate though. He's only 20 and was ordinary in AAA.
  5. I'll take my first pure stats-scout guy: Jacob Nottingham, Astros catcher of the future. Jays_fever up and emailed.
  6. I will draft another MM... Marcos Molina. z3r0s up.
  7. Giron's stats and position obviously pop off the page. It's hard to find scouting info though, none of the national guys are onto him.
  8. The youngest and best-hitting player in the Midwest League. Sammy up, then you again.
  9. Bob Dutton is legit, I believe him. Wow.
  10. Reyes and Adames were two of the three breakout prospects I picked in the Breaking Blue season preview. Big fan of both.
  11. Yes. I'm very careful about picking from my phone, didn't mean to show you up.
  12. This is the eligibility rule: "Only unowned players who have never played an MLB game and who belong to an MLB parent team are eligible to be drafted." Pretty simple. I expected someone to take him in the first 10 picks.
  13. "Minor leaguer" is probably more accurate. I don't know how Olivera will get playing time this year but the Dodgers must believe in him.
  14. I'll take Dodgers infield prospect Hector Olivera. Havok up and emailed.
  15. I wonder if the Rays had hard data on Souza's minor league quality of contact that influenced their trading for him. He's been hitting the ball with a lot of authority.
  16. Reynaldo made the major lists; this isn't some random guy I dug up who got a good eyewitness grade once lol. He throws 100 with regularity, has two useful breaking balls and a repeatable delivery. I'll bet on that package every time, and the stats aren't even bad.
  17. I will grab Reynaldo Lopez. NJH up. I can't email him.
  18. Brett Phillips is a good pick. One of the best pop-up hitters in this draft. On my short-list for #16.
  19. I, too, will not comment on possible pitchers Hurl could take.
  20. Oh ok. I hope he doesn't take the guy I want at 15.
  21. I think Hurl was referring to De Leon. I bet he takes a college bat here.
