  1. Barreto has turned it around too, now has a league-average line as a 19-year-old in high-A. Graveman has made four straight legitimately good starts. Throwing strikes and getting batters to swing through pitches. Josh Donaldson is amazing but it's not like this trade sank the A's.
  2. Ian Desmond is costing himself a good chunk of cash.
  3. I'm flipping Caminero to CatsAss for a 5 -> 3 upgrade.
  4. The pick was pretty late, it's my fault for holding onto Rodney through his struggles. Now that we saw that picks after 50 are practically free come June, I'll probably make a similar trade this offseason to get another second closer. I should drop Rodney.
  5. Yes. I'd give you Liberatore, Caminero and Rodney on the cheap. Former two have great PD stats and Rodney still has a shot at saves.
  6. Nice catch but Randall Delgado is the closer of the future in Arizona
  7. What are the Red Sox going to do with Castillo? $70MM and he may never be any good... wow. And what's happening with Moncada? None of the guys the Red Sox have given big money to recently are performing.
  8. Why do the Cubs hate Hector Rondon? He's good!
  9. Um... people lost their lives in those.
  10. Big Pelf is available? It's time to open the war chest.
  11. Justin Turner has been an MVP-calibre player over his last full season of playing time.
  12. Not exactly going out on a limb there. He isn't of major league quality.
  13. Don't blame Copeland... it's not his fault that he's not a real major league pitcher. He works hard and gets the best of his abilities.
  14. Matt West making his Dodgers debut right now.
  15. Yes. League record is 12.67 by Hurl (Week 10, 2014). It's always hard to maintain these streaks through the weekend. Spanky was in the 30s against me earlier this year but ended at 9.00.
  16. Pretty much. His PD stats are obscene. I hope the Nationals can carve out a full-time rotation spot for Ross.
  17. He probably doesn't though. His ground ball rate this year is above his career average and he's only given up one home run all season. Many relievers are successful using a 90 mph fastball and excellent offspeed stuff.
  18. Yes he's become a totally different pitcher. K-Rod's changeup is a knockout pitch and he puts it exactly where he wants to.
  19. K-Rod is still pretty good though. He's actually carrying his best xFIP- (73) since 2006 and has a 14.2% SwStr%. Those are very good marks. He reinvented himself after losing the velocity.
  20. Dogg doesn't get banned on first sight though. He's one of accounts I have on IL that has a CamelCase name. For whatever reason the mods have decided that bans only apply to accounts, not people.
  21. Moogy's post is actually pretty sensible. I don't think he should be banned but he should strive to keep threads on-topic.
  22. He was extra-banned by o2cui2i. The kind where your posts and account get deleted. It's been done before.
  23. He was banned by a mod though. It's not like he voluntarily went into hiding.
