Every team looks like it struggles on offense these days! It's a new era. Being ninth in runs is just situational bad luck. It doesn't mean they've been bad with the bats.

The Jays rotation has an 84 FIP-. They've been damn good. A playoff berth will be waiting if they pitch like this all year.

It's a split-squad. Half the team will play at Target Field at 3:00 pm, and the other half at the University of Minnesota's field at the same time. They're allowed to call up guys from Buffalo and use 22 guys in each game. Should be fun.

The insurance the Padres got was the $4MM option for 2015 if he gets hurt. I expect they'll activate it, but they may not. We're in Rich Harden/Brett Anderson territory. -
z3r0s just added Jarred Cosart who is Spanky's property. Cosart's first name is misspelled in the doc, could be the cause for confusion here. Edit: On that note, could someone correct Micah Johnson's first name in the doc too? It's still 'Michael' lol

We demolished the Twins even when they were good. And Bautista & EE have crazy stats in Target Field. There was some fact going around last year about how EE and Bautista had more homers there than Mauer + Morneau and others combined.
