    use the best guy to get the outs to give you a chance to win. sometimes the game gets saved in the 7th by getting to the 9th with a lead. today was a bad decision lifting Dickey. unless Dickey comes out and says he had nothing left, I'll put this loss on Gibbons.

    he'll earn his salary. it's more whether what they gave up was worth it. I'd say that if the jays were an 85 win team this year, the dickey trade makes sense, but they are not looking like a 75 game winner now.

    the whole situation probably never comes up with Gibbons lets Dickey pitch the 7th. then it's Oliver and Jansen for the win. Gibbons has not figured out that Dickey can throw 140 if he has to.

    I have a feeling it was part Beeston pushing and AA panicking because he was getting NO from the FA he was trying to sign. canada+20 years of not being very good has made it hard to sign guys in their prime. plus the jays have the no long term deal policy. most big FA over the last couple have years have been getting big bucks and years that would make AA uncomfortable. a combination of bad things help this happen. I dont think his moves are as horrible as 13-23. a big chunk of that goes on the players being arrogant.

    hit off a pitcher who never should have been in the game. how about we talk about him not making a single play right to let the jays come back from a 7-0 deficit? Escobar single handily ( no pun intended) gave the jays that win. with escobar you can get good, bad or really Fing ugly.

    jays have no pitching left. they cant limp through the schedule until Hutch MAYBE comes back. we have no idea what he will be when he gets back in July. McInjured might have his arm explode, but I'll bet McGowan gets a start before Hutch is back.

    AA looks really stupid when he says the whole Miami deal hinged on Bonifiasco. he's got Escobar's crappy attitude with no skill to back it up. sorry to bash on your bromance with Escobar, but it's true.

    the lovista looks almost as stupid as the rays retarded bow and arrow s***. they really didn't have to be this bad. the team has just now started to get close to where they should have been april 1st.

    Romero was horrible last year and the team felt they needed extra pitching just in case they got injuries like last year. not justifying the move or being against it. obviously someone in the org felt they needed more depth. someone also didn't think D'Arnaud was going to be ok with the leg problems. in the end I'd blame the players from thinking they were too good to be prepared and the decision from the team to give the vets so little playing time in ST.
