    The Os didn't have an ace... end of comparison lol there D didn't commit many errors and they hit really well and there bullpen didn't blow 20 games. so what is he actually comparing?

    They really need an outfielder and probably a couple pen arms. I think AA is planning on going with Izturis at second and keeping one of the fringe infielders on the bench (ie Goins) and Travis in AAA.

    if they make the playoffs next year some players will start changing their minds. if the jays win 79 games and are third in the east, it will be the same thing next off season.

    I am not a huge fan of bringing in Sadoval, but I really dont want him to be killing us 19 games a year either. Aren't there any NL teams that can outbid the Red Sox?

    moving off a team where you are clearly blocked for a couple years to another team who puts someone else in your way.... cant be a lot of fun.

    A lot of fans forget that some guys just wont sign for the Jays. I'm pretty sure the list isn't as bad as it used to be, especially after signing RM, but there are still guys who just wont come.
