    I hope that sending Martin on a play like that is a spring training mistake. don't want to see that happening during the year. ball was right at Gardner and he was charging the whole way. easy out....

    I dont think it is wrong to use one or both at some point this year, but I'd go with other options to start the year. see what you have without them first.

    Dumbing the facts down for fans is something most fans wish they would completely stop doing. The fans are a lot more intellectual today than they were 30 years ago. Treating the fans like they are the idiots makes the announcers come across as complete simpletons. Arguing against advanced stats, when we have almost unlimited resources to support the facts, is simply dumb. When they do it on a daily basis they are STUPID

    "QUICK" there is years of evidence against them. If this was an isolated incident I'd agree with you, but this is what we have been listening to for years. They get paid to talk baseball, unfortunately there isn't an intellect clause and we get to listen to tripe 162 games every year.
