I didn't have that in any order. 1.) Frazier 2.) Meadows 3.) Smith Smith is a great pick but Meadows or Frazier at 11 would be incredible.

He's exactly what we don't need in two different ways; a projectable pitcher who needs a lot to break right and needs better secondaries, or a toolsy CF with no hit tool. So you just know we're gonna take him.

Meadows, Smith, Frazier, maybe McGuire, maybe Shipley, Peterson, etc. It's risky banking on some of those guys, but I'm quite sure Smith will be there.

Thanks to the wonderful work of JFaS, we've established that there is, indeed, a Dickey effect on hitters that face a normal pitcher after facing R.A. Dickey. But, obviously, this effect is cancelled out when Dickey pitches the last game of a series. I read that Dickey was starting Game 4 and I thought, huh, he's been pitching the last game of a series quite a bit. So I took a look in his fangraphs game log... 04-07 Red Sox @ Blue Jays 04-18 White Sox @ Blue Jays 04-28 Blue Jays @ Yankees 05-09 Blue Jays @ Rays And he'll be pitching the last game of the Braves series, as well. Including that game, that will be 5 of his 12 starts being the last game of a series, which is a fairly sizable amount- 41.6%. It would probably have a marginal effect on wins, but we need all the help we can get. What do you guys think?

It's at least nice to see some emotion out of the guys, shows they're interested, unlike some guys we've had here over the years who've been a bit disinterested (and not the Doc-cyborg kind).
