    Why? That's only for predicting future defensive value, using current season stats for current season evaluation is fine.

    It was a pretty common prediction that the first two would be good, and I don't think anyone's really claimed they knew Boni would be this bad.

    It's at 86 for his career, and he's fought through 230 PA against them. He put up 3 wins this year with a largely reduced wRC+ vs lefties. He shouldn't be our primary option but if he's still available in February and we have no 2B he'd be a nice option.

    He's managed to compensate for his defense, don't really care that he doesn't walk too much, his ISO is 10 points above league average for 2B this year, and that's a good point, but it hasn't affected him to the point where he's unusable a la Lind.

    I'm bored as f*** too so let's do this. I don't think anyone really makes that argument. No, we disregard it because (I disregard it because) it's so heavily influenced by other teammates, because your other teammates need to get on base ahead of you. And again, I don't think anyone uses HR/FB.

    Any reason why? Career 103 wRC+, 9 fWAR in 5 seasons, 2.3 fWAR/162 games, durable, and would probably get an uptick in dingers in RC. Nothing from his stats scream unsustainable, either. He'd probably come at a reasonable cost and he's a reliable 2B.
