Did he just extrapolate a whole 121 PA sample And no you don't get nearly the same, you'd get about ~1.9 when you extrapolate him to 600 PA and that's nearly a full win less, which doesn't matter cause you don't extrapolate 121 PA samples

That could be a 5 win swing right there (~-2 to ~3). 2011 - .322 BABIP, 13.4 Defense 2012 - .298 BABIP, 10.8 Defense 2013 - .281 BABIP, 10.9 Defense 2012 seems like a reasonable expectation. Also LOL @ falling like harlem comet

His BABIP is down about 20 points. He has an adequate-very good bat for a 2B and a really good glove. His contract is reasonable. He's averaged ~2.9 fWAR/600 PA over his career.

Brandon Phillips is good at that run prevention thing.

Random hypothetical time; If I were negotiating this I would try and only include one of Hutch/Sanchez/Stroman and replace one with another piece but if all else failed I'd probably do it.
