I think JFaS did a regression on Colby's wOBA and it came out to around .340, I'd take that. I'd say maybe .255/.310/.460 if we're pulling numbers out our asses. -
Yessir, there is a ton more movement. The NBA has started tracking all player movements though. There's a real stat revolution coming in there too it's great.

Can't the recovery time go up to 18 months? That may be a bit beyond OD. I still think they should have gone for surgery immediately but I have a feeling NYM wants to compete next year so I guess I get where they were coming from.

It's certainly far from perfect but it's nice to expand your knowledge. Unfortunately it's not to the point of baseball yet.

Oh I hate it too, I'm just laughing at the fact that I (and definitely others) figured this would happen they decided to rehab it instead of going for the quick surgery.

Don't like the fact that he rounds it up to BABIP stuff but I liked this tidbit on the HR/FB regression argument. Didn't realize that about Colby. I know he has great power but 17% HR/FB is pretty high, wonder if he can keep it up. My favorite part was probably when a -0.0 appeared in a table.

I believe that 1 WAR is worth 9.5m-ish in value, but 4.5m-ish on the free agent market, but I'm a bit sketchy on that. If BTS or Nox or 49 or someone smarter than me could explain better it'd help.
