It was pretty weird seeing a "Where in the world is GD?" thread in the OT forum when I didn't post for like a month. Granted, the posts in this thread are rightfully a lot more endearing. I would hope Ace would see that we were worried and that we really do enjoy his posts quite a bit.

I really can't process this. This is horrible. R.I.P. Ace/Peter. I really hope this isn't true but if it is, you'll be missed. I think I speak for everyone when I say that we'll miss his hilarious videos and his prospect reports and the cheeriness of his posts. Ugh. This is s*****.

I don't think moving Demar gets us a superstar, but if we can trade him + first this year + Knicks first then maybe that gets us a 6-10 pick, at which point we could draft, probably, a guy like Exum, Gordon, Selden, Cauley-Stein, Smart, Harrison, Vonleh, etc (there are so many ways the draft could go). Then we could reinvest some of the savings from Demar and waiving Salmons and I think Hayes is expiring and so on in a guy like Bledsoe on an RFA deal, Deng, maybe Parsons depending on his option, Gasol, Turner, Granger, etc. Maybe even Melo is Tim L is feeling like a f***ing alpha.

Bradley is a little like Gio Gonzalez and Defoe is a little like Adrian Beltre in terms of hype/age/skill, in my uncultured, not really putting any effort into this, unknowledgable opinion.

I wouldn't mind trading Demar for a high pick in the draft on a sell high in combination with other non-roster assets, drafting a really nice player, and then reinvesting Demar's $10m+ on a player in free agency (Luol Deng?). But only if it were reinvested. But it's Masai, I don't doubt he'd use it wisely. Thoughts?
