  1. I wanted to draft this guy. You hit and you miss lol
  2. Genuinely shocked you haven't been torn to shreds for the double negative. This board has come a long way.
  3. Image file game = stepped up
  4. Step up your image file game lol
  5. David Forst or that guy who I forget from the A's FO or literally anyone from the Cardinals/Rays/A's/Pirates. I'm convinced the Rays' domincan league intern/janitor/lunch ladies have a better understanding of DIPS than AA.
  6. For fellow pasty baseball fans who have run out of stuff to do in their collective mothers' basements, Boston University is offering an online course called "Sabermetrics 101: Introduction to Baseball Analytics." It starts May 8th, and you can either take the course or audit it, which I'll be doing. It gets into using data, the basics of statistical regression, R language, and SQL. Thought it might be interesting for wannabe nerds who haven't learned this stuff like myself. https://www.edx.org/course/bux/bux-sabr101x-sabermetrics-101-1558
  7. To sig or not to sig. T'is the question.
  8. Positive regression and progression are different.
  9. He's talking about the heads in the FO, not you. Do I have to translate this entire conversation for you? Lol maybe some sleep is needed
  10. Er, nothing wrong with that. He's a fan of the team above Goins. It's very justifiable.
  11. He means that he doesn't care how they look because it's Spring Training
  12. Ehh. It's not bad, but the area surrounding the RC is better imo.
  13. Has anyone actually done a study on if the reason short pitchers failed is because they were all short?
  14. Yes, you're right, I was mainly referring to the actual park factors. But Seattle's climate (and city in general imo) and roof definitely do make it nice.
  15. Seattle's more of a neutral team, just to nitpick.
  16. Blue Jays, $14 million, Tuesday, Heyman
  17. Based off spring training. You are wise far beyond measure
  18. This was a large product of his positioning, which isn't really his fault, as much as the coaches. There were some articles about it.
  19. Because Hech is to SS as Goins is to 2B and SS > 2B, and even then people are very, very weary about giving Hech a shot.
  20. 1/8 to the Pirates would be great for Santana
