    Hey I dislike Barker as much as the next guy but I've softened my dislike of Wilner over the years so perhaps Barker can improve as well.

    Such a loss for baseball, the Jays organization and of course his family. His starts were magic and he was one of a small handful of players who kept the Jays relevant during those lean years. Was hoping someday he'd come back to the Jays as a coach or advisor in the future. Sad to see he'll never get to give his deserved HOF speech. RIP Roy "Doc" Halladay

    Chapman can be wild at times I'll give you that. All things considered, just happy Verlander got the W. What a performance.

    I can totally see your point. However, there's no telling if the Astros would have gotten another hit off Chapman, given how well he's pitched this postseason and even a small mixup by the cutoff man, or a dropped throw at the plate and you win the game. Anything other than the game on the line with both teams struggling to score and I would agree with you.

    I thought it was a good send. Puts pressure on the D and worst case scenario there's a runner at second with two outs. In most circumstances I doubt he gets sent but in this case I don't have a problem with it.

    I can't wait until MLB institutes some sort of rule for number of times a catcher can go to the mound per inning...this is f***ing ridiculous.

    Why have replay if obviously incorrect calls aren't getting overturned? Altuve's foot was clearly off the base before catching that throw.

    This seems like the Jays doing Smith a favor to be closer to his ailing mother and the Indians giving us what they could. I'm not really disappointed.
