Holding runners for sure. People and the broadcasters were saying their running wild on Kirk... but... no, they were running on Cease taking his usual slow motion delivery. Even a half-assed jump from a guy with Vlad's speed could steal off him. 

That said, Kirk's pop time is worse this year than last by 5 hundredths of a second. And as a whole, the leagues catchers have taken leap forward in that regard since that .05 seconds he has lost has seen him fall from 51st percentile to 9th percentile.

Kirk is a fat f*ck with a noodle arm.  There's never any doubt about that.  Pitchers don't give him a chance, but I'm not sure it's going to make a TON of difference.  Schneider's fault - fire him.  He should teach Kirk to pop faster.

Well, Schneider is a former catcher so maybe he should.

That's an excellent point.  Schneider can probably pop and throw better than Kirk right now.  He shoulda subbed himself in for Kirk.  Fireable offense #587

I mean, Schneider had to have been a decent defensive catcher since he couldn't hit for sh*t in the minors

I've also observed that Schneider is overweight and clearly has blood pressure issues.  He's a poor role model for Kirk - probably eating whoppers around him daily - tempting Kirk. Fireable offense #588
