I'm ok with this deal, Soriano is a solid #3/4 on a contending team;  gotta give something up to get something in return and prospects - even top prospects - are never a sure thing.  

Plus we have Gimenez at SS through 2029

I wouldn't have done the trade for Soriano but I don't think it was a bad trade value wise.  I'd just rather have the young top prospect in the system with the looming work stoppage on the horizon.
