Do you follow any independent leagues or teams? Apparently the former IBL is now the professional CBL. They still don’t play series and are generally a weekend league. But I might check out a game in my town.

Where I used to live - my hometown, we used to have two different Frontier League teams, and the AA Tigers. Now there’s just the CBL.

I like independent baseball. It’s a nice night out and you usually see some offence because pitching is hard to come by everywhere but MLB.

TML on youtube, my buddies I grew up with are coaching there, the Butler Bro's and Puig plays for them, lol.

Puig plays for them for now. May be headed to jail soon from what I’ve heard. I also played ball with some former Intercounty players. It’s okay ball but not really on par with the US Indy leagues.

I generally follow the Barrie Baycats and catch portions of several games each year (as my boys play ball out of the same complex/stadium).  A couple of the guys I used to play ball with in the NDBL are coaching for the Baycats and there are still a few players I played with in the league.

I missed seeing Puig when he was in Town on May 14th, but it was like -7 that night, so we bailed on going.

The Baycats also have a U22 junior team now and I know a few of the kids on it.  There's a chance that one day a lot of the kids I used to coach may play for them, which would be cool.
