Sorry for the lengthy downtime

That was a series of unfortunate events. I've been sick and went to sleep early. The sites went down almost the exact *moment* I fell asleep. Then I slept in because, again, I was sick. Woke up and the sites had been down for almost 12 hours. So I notified our database guy... and he had his kid in urgent care.

So yeah, this kind of downtime is VERY unusual, as in we've never had an 18 hour downtime before.
