To be fair, predicting a Jansen injury is like predicting water will be wet. At least this one isnt the hamate bone, it's not as bad and won't take as long to come back from

 

I'm also going out on a limb and saying Giancarlo Stanton will be on the injured list this year

Very true. The guy needs to wear 8 pairs of batting gloves and protective shields all around his wrist/hands. As for Stanton.. did you not see the shape he's in? Will he still be the slowest player in MLB?

Mayza averaged 93.4 mph on the sinker last season.

 

Struggling to hit 90 mph right now. Not a good sign.
