The under-utilization of Jansen by the coaching staff is just pure incompetence. He has the highest wRC+ on the team this year. He has a 900+ OPS in the past 30 games with almost a 1:1 walk:strikeout ratio.

Until today Springer was hitting .200 the last 30 days with minimal power and a busted elbow and it would theoretically keep Vlad out of GIDP situations people complain about...won't happen, but not a terrible idea based on the theory
