Omar Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2022 Posted September 11, 2022 GOING FOR THE SWEEP! The Silver Fox will get this bullpen start rolling. The Rangers will be starting veteran Martin Perez, who has eight career games against the Blue Jays. The Jays have not faced Perez this season but hit well off of him last year. The 31-year-old lefty faced Toronto twice in 2022, both times when he was a pitcher for the Boston Red Sox. In the first appearance, he was unable to get out of the second inning as he allowed five runs, including home runs to Teoscar Hernandez, Lourdes Gurriel Jr and his current teammate Semien that led to a Blue Jays 18-4 thumping of the Red Sox. His second appearance was out of the bullpen where he allowed a leadoff single to Randal Grichuk who scored on an RBI triple by Springer.

They showed the best numbers on a 10 day road trip, historically, that's it. What Bo's done on this heater is remarkable.

el duque Verified Member Posted September 11, 2022 Posted September 11, 2022 Richards against lefties? this might be trouble
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2022 Posted September 11, 2022 Richards against lefties? this might be trouble Looks like u may be correct. Lol.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2022 Posted September 11, 2022 If it was up to Schneider he would probably use at least 8 relievers in this game, but for better or worse probably need Kikuchi to eat up as many innings as he can with the Tampa series having a double header.
