haha right, well the regulars are having down years compared to last except Kirk and Gurriel, and I love chapman for his defense, but he doesn't make up for Semien offensive output.

 

I don’t really see Gurriel as having an up year with the bat. Sure, higher average, but his power has disappeared. His overall run creation is about in line with last season, give or take a few points. He basically traded his power for more singles. He’s a guy who should be hitting 25Hr+ in a season, but here he is on track to finish with like…7?

 

I want 2020 Gurriel back, you can have this version.

This year's version of Gurriel is better suited for playoff baseball and I respect the fact he sacrificed power to make more contact and get on base more.
