skepti c Verified Member Posted June 4, 2022 Posted June 4, 2022 Is anyone else sick and tired of Pat Tabler saying things like "Espinal is not quite there yet". Tabler seems to be blinded by his bro-crush on Bichette who may be a better hitter (although Espinal hit for a higher average last year and so far this year) but is definitely not a better fielder, having committed 7 errors to Espy's 2 on approx the same number of chances. Not saying Espy is a better player than Bo, but it is time to stop referrring to him as some sort of fill-in and recognize he is perhaps the most consistent player - offensively and defensively - on the Jays this year and that simply continues his track record from last year.
