JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Author Posted May 11, 2022 What happened to a ball being a ball? not tonight
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 One game Kooch or Ryu when he’s back, have to go Kooch until proven otherwise What's this mean, Stripling goes to the pen, bro?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 Umps on NYY payroll Refs on Tampa's payroll, lol.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 not tonight My point is that this is the umps being terrible. Ideally, you want your players to not swing at balls, so I don't fault them for not swinging when the pitch is clearly out of the zone.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 Keep working em boys, great approach tonight. This comment has lost it's lustre a bit, but for the fact umps suck giant dicks.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 What's this mean, Stripling goes to the pen, bro? Saying Kooch is prob #4.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 It would be the height of hilarity if Kikuchi no hit the Yanks.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 He went around, f***, that blind ass is behind the plate tomorrow. Still got em, but still. I'm liking what I see from Kooch.

But some were not THAT far off the zone, and that's why they call it protecting the plate.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 Kikuchi 10 IP, ER against the Yanks
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 Kikuchi 10 IP, ER against the Yanks Very hard to do... he's pitched against very good teams, and has held his own.
Signal Verified Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 Say what you will, but I like what I see from Kikuchi in his last outing and what he is bringing today.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 Would have been nice if Vladdy had gotten that hit with someone on base, but at least he's no longer ofer against him.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 We have not connected on a lot of hangers tonight. Need to punish those
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 It's a shame the Cooch deems it necessary to walk so many guys.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 When he gets that low fb strike....gives me hope.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 Man, there's "settling down" and there's this, he went from "he probably won't make it through 5" to "12 in a row retired, and convincingly!" That's a hell of a turn around after that second inning.
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 Lol well that was certainly something
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 castro has some nasty movement on that fastball
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 Really weird time to steal a base, but I'll take it!
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 okay what is up with Chapman lol, he takes way too many fastballs down the middle as Ks
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 Chapman is just literally the causal fans rotten tomato
