JuniorFelix54 Verified Member Posted September 25, 2021 Author Posted September 25, 2021 f*** you. Oh, and f*** the OP too. Don't get mad at us for speaking the truth, take your anger out where it belongs on the team that jerked us all around just to give up in the end. And he is absolute right Springer has either been hurt or hit like total s*** outside of one 2 week hot streak, that's worth $25 mil a year? Ryu is inconsistent as can be, the guy is supposed to be the #1 starter and clearly isn't one and he's not worth $20 mil. a year either.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Charlie - it's been a positive season no matter what. Wilner - it's early Stagstag - Everyone Relax. Believe There are positive voices out there if you know where to listen Spanky - f*** you.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Although he's not a LHH, i would seriously look into signing Starling Marte in the off season. He'll be 33 later this year. What would it take to sign him, 3/60? Lol have you seen his stats this year? He signs for more than that IMO. Probably closer to like 5/100
Olerud363 Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Conforto, McNeil, Smith -- buy low on any of these?
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Conforto, McNeil, Smith -- buy low on any of these? Down for Conforto. Smith might be a good target too, he’d look a lot better on an AL team
Olerud363 Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Red Sox got through top of first without damage. I raise the playoff probability from 23.2 to 23.24...
Olerud363 Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Red Sox got through top of first without damage. I raise the playoff probability from 23.2 to 23.24... Cortes looks good. I lower playoff odds down to 22.95. Grant - Boston sucks and has a s***** pitching staff Baseball Gods - Grant is actually right on this, and it will be apparent when they get swept by the Yankees and ironically screw the Blue Jays playoff hopes. Ironically Sox themselves get in with luck and beating up on the bad teams.
Olerud363 Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Alert - stanton hits hard line drive down left field line - only a single but a yankees rally here could move us much closer to a more realistic 'season over'
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Is Schwarber a FA this year? edit.. Just checked, mutual option 2021, FA 2022. He signed a 1/10 this year, unreal. Grichuk was signed for? Matt Olson could be an under-the-radar type of target. Oakland is always in payroll shedding mode when a guy gets towards arbitration 2 and 3 and that's where Olson will be after this season. He fits the LH need and would still be cost controlled for 2022 and 2023. Doesn't add much defensive versatility and would strictly be 1b/DH but dude rakes and at worst... he gets on base. I love the thought of going after Ramirez, but I just don't know how that kind of deal gets pulled off. The costs would be significant.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 f***ing hockey fans. It's actually REALLY hard to make the playoffs in Baseball, it's not over half the f***ing teams making the post season like the lesser sports. Don't lump all hockey fans in with those
Olerud363 Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Brett Gardner hits a double to put 2 runners in scoring positions This is a significant step to ending the season. Likely scenario is that Yankees score 2 runs then the season will be put on life support. I recommend if you'd like to smash anything at seasons end you get your thing you would like to smash. Season could be over at 10:00 pm (once Jays are 3 behind with 7 to go the claims of season over start to get pretty legit)
Olerud363 Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 2-1 Red Sox on a wild pich Jays playoff probability 15.2 %
Olerud363 Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 "Not a beta Rizzo" pops up after Gardner out at home plate. Jays playoff probability moves to 22% Note: All our models had factored in that Rizzo was "not a beta" so we expected him to crush a pitch there. He didn't. Is this 'beta' vs 'not a beta' thing really that big a deal?
philly30 Verified Member Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Season not over but must win next 2 games
Franegeta Verified Member Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Honestly blue jays should be in playoff! Like I alway said blue jays started the season in America that is like playing away games for half season…. Also Yankees alway makes to playoff cuz they have to MLB need them to make money anyway 🙄.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Lol have you seen his stats this year? He signs for more than that IMO. Probably closer to like 5/100 The only reason I said 3 years is because of his age.
Olerud363 Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Rizzo coming up with a chance to win game for Yankees and take serious step in ending Jays season This puts the 'beta' theory on the line. Rizzo is not a beta so should come through. We will see shortly.
Olerud363 Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Rizzo hit! Not a beta. Stanton can put Jays season on life support.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Stanton just hit a grandslam lol.
Olerud363 Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 lol of course. Season could be over in 3 hours.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Why is Olerud enjoying this again?
Olerud363 Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Why is Olerud enjoying this again? Trust me I'm not enjoying it. I live in Yankee land and have to live it 24/7 but it's like watching a car crash.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 Stanton just hit a grandslam lol. Bit of an understatement. He hit that ball off planet. Just destroyed that pitch
JuniorFelix54 Verified Member Posted September 26, 2021 Author Posted September 26, 2021 And when you have a cheating piece of trash like Joey Cora who should've been banned from MLB making genius managerial moves to blow games to the Yankees, it just further solidifies that the season is over
JuniorFelix54 Verified Member Posted September 26, 2021 Author Posted September 26, 2021 EVERYONE RELAX Jays are still in this. Win today and tomorrow, then take 2/3 from the Yankees. BELIEVE And they'd still be a game back then, they needed to come into that Yankee series within a game and between losing two to Minnesota and Joey Cora f'ing us today that's not too likely.
Olerud363 Old-Timey Member Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 And they'd still be a game back then, they needed to come into that Yankee series within a game and between losing two to Minnesota and Joey Cora f'ing us today that's not too likely. Is the season over or not? Say we win tomorrow, then does the season depend on tomorrow nights Yankee/Red Sox game? So we need Toronto win tomorrow and Boston win tomorrow to turn the season back on?
Scion Verified Member Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 Just need a win tomorrow and a Yankees loss and they still control their fate.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 Just need a win tomorrow and a Yankees loss and they still control their fate. Just win tomorrow and they’re guaranteed to be 1 game back. Just win tomorrow.
