I think Kirk should be DHing to give Springer some rest since he's clearly ailing and it's affecting his production. At least give him more opportunities to develop his hitting tools since it's clear he can be a contributor on that front.

If you can’t re-sign Semien. I think they should be in the middle infield market for one of the top guys. And maybe you move Bo to second if you can get top end Shortstop. But I honestly think he’s going to be fine.

I really don’t think we’re losing anything defensively with Kirk behind the plate. Pitching staff arguably had its been run of the year when he was on the IR as well. I’m fine with Jansen catching 2-3 times a week. But let’s not pretend for a second he could bring as much as Kirk can to the table.

And if they go get a legit Third Baseman. I’m perfectly with that plan. I believe in Biggio especially if he plays at Second Base. Fine with him making some Outfield starts. But Third isn’t going to work out for him.
