G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 18, 2021 Author Posted April 18, 2021 Charlie likes to turn his lineups in late... like a sneaky but mostly ineffective ninja
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2021 Posted April 18, 2021 So Thornton seems to have scored a late inning job on occasion...
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2021 Posted April 18, 2021 Damn, Biggio and Gurriel are out. Lineup without 4 regulars just doesn't excite you the same.

JFD Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2021 Posted April 18, 2021 is Gurriel injured or is this Charlie being Charlie? And Espinal should be starting.
Thaddeus Malice Verified Member Posted April 18, 2021 Posted April 18, 2021 I'm not sure that Semien really works at the top of the lineup. I know he's just placeholding till Springer is back, but he probably slots in 6-8.

Even now, they should have tried Biggio at leadoff to see if that got him back on track and moved Semien to cleanup. Once everyone is back, he should bat 5th/6th depending on how Gurriel is doing. Springer - Bo - Vlad - Teo - Semien - Gurriel - Grichuk - Kirk - Biggio.

JFD Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2021 Posted April 18, 2021 Espinal was optioned last night. IIRC Lame!
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 18, 2021 Posted April 18, 2021 I don't think Singer is that good but I could see him carving the Jays RHB today.

BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2021 Posted April 18, 2021 Espinal was optioned last night. IIRC :(
Slyfisher Verified Member Posted April 18, 2021 Posted April 18, 2021 Big strike zone against us today! Ump better call it both ways!
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2021 Posted April 18, 2021 Those aren't just outside Danny, boy.
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2021 Posted April 18, 2021 I remember he was ranked 3 to 6 in the 2018 draft and fell all the way down to 18th for KC. We passed on the reunion with Singer and went the Groshans + King Kloff (3rd) route.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2021 Posted April 18, 2021 f***ing leadoff walks are the worst.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2021 Posted April 18, 2021 f***ing leadoff walks are the worst. Especially when you walk the greyhounds!
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2021 Posted April 18, 2021 Especially when you walk the greyhounds! Yeah, I'd take a DP or K right now.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2021 Posted April 18, 2021 Big Strikeout, be nice to get out of this.
Slyfisher Verified Member Posted April 18, 2021 Posted April 18, 2021 I noticed that Ray grunts differently based on what pitch he throws.. I wonder if there's any advantage for the hitter?
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2021 Posted April 18, 2021 He has no command of the strikezone
