jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2020 Posted September 1, 2020 I really wish I hadn't taken him out of my DFS lineup and inserted Sonny Gray. lol
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2020 Posted September 1, 2020 Hernandez done for the season?
Ray Verified Member Posted September 1, 2020 Posted September 1, 2020 Merryweather is a testament to Clevelands ability to draft and develop pitchers. This guy was part of Div-II program in Oklahoma Baptist, and somehow he ends up having absurd velo and stuff and looking like a top of the rotation arm.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2020 Posted September 1, 2020 Merryweather better be in the 2021 rotation. He's legit.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2020 Posted September 1, 2020 Miguel Rojas' groundout is the lowest EV I've ever seen on Statcast. 39.2 MPH...
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2020 Posted September 1, 2020 Buck - "The issue was Villar was a the leadoff hitter in Miami. I don't think he's going to hit leadoff for the Jays. He'll be in the top 3" Dan - "Even when Bo comes back?" Buck - "Oh yeah.....pause....pause....f***.....I think it will be Cavan, Villar, Bo and you drop Grichuk down" Get this man off the air please.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2020 Posted September 1, 2020 I didn't realize Jon Berti was decent last year. Wow.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2020 Posted September 1, 2020 Rotator cuff maybe?? Remember when that was a thing? Very few rotator injuries these days.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2020 Posted September 1, 2020 Robbie Ray debut As reported, he's reverting back to a longer arm action...
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2020 Posted September 1, 2020 Has he thrown a ball? lol If a home run ball counts - then yes.
Ray Verified Member Posted September 1, 2020 Posted September 1, 2020 The stuff is good Stuff has always been great. Which is why teams tolerated his high walk rates, even in his best year. He pumped the zone with strikes that inning. Home runs will happen. Let's hope he doesn't fall apart from here on out, because it'd be nice to get 3-4 innings from him.

I have an appreciation for Buck and Dan after watching other games and listening to homer announcers. They usually know NOTHING about the opposing team, and what they do know is usually wrong.

One crew I did like was the Indians radio team.

wilko Old-Timey Member Posted September 2, 2020 Author Posted September 2, 2020 Ray's not looking too bad so far!
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted September 2, 2020 Posted September 2, 2020 Worst ump I've seen... calling strikes at the letters and ankles. Pathetic
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted September 2, 2020 Posted September 2, 2020 Worst ump I've seen... calling strikes at the letters and ankles. Pathetic 1 missed call is inexcusable. They're all terrible.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted September 2, 2020 Posted September 2, 2020 Schulman is such a dry, bland broadcaster. I like the guy but man it gets tiring.
JoJo Parker Dunedin Blue Jays - A SS On Tuesday, Parker was just 1-for-5, but the one hit was his first professional home run. Explore JoJo Parker News >
