EastCoaster Verified Member Posted January 4, 2020 Posted January 4, 2020 The Blue Jays signing of Travis Shaw ex MLB pitcher Jeff Shaw's son as their regular first baseman. Can the Blue Jays be making MLB history as having the only complete starting infield of all former major league players's son manning each and every position. I can't recall having any other team in the MLB who had so many former MLB players's son 2nd generation on their roster.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 I remember in 93 and 94 them making a big deal about Schofield, Alomar, Sprague & Stottlemyre being on the field at the same time. I didn't care then...I don't care now.

In 93 & 94 Olerud was the regular 1st baseman and Stottlemyre was a pitcher like his father.
