Corporal Valdal Verified Member Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 How did teoscar not get to pinch hit there I have no f***ing clue
Senior Verified Member Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 I can’t be the only one wanting a no hitter, am I?
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 Or Smoak I have to assume his neck is too sore. That's where you'd definitely use him.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 I predict Bauer no-hits the Jays tonight. Wow SirBjay looks like you're about to be right!
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 Freddy doesn't have that great of range. Solid defender but the range isn't there
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 I can’t be the only one wanting a no hitter, am I? This no hitter has 8 walks, f*** that. The Edwin Jackson variety lol.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 Freddy doesn't have that great of range. Solid defender but the range isn't there I'm sure he's consistently rated and been regarded as an elite defender despite lack of range. Makes perfect sense.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 Wow SirBjay looks like you're about to be right! You're already right.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 Or Smoak I would have said smoak if he was healthy, but teoscar deserved a chance there. He actually has more walks than strike outs so far this year
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 What an annoying f***ing crowd.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 So we will be fighting with the Orioles for Rock Bottom.
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 5, 2019 Author Posted April 5, 2019 I have to assume his neck is too sore. That's where you'd definitely use him. Crew said he's available to pinch hit, but maybe things have changed.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 I know it’s early but anybody that thinks Jansen is gonna come close to being an everyday ball player gotta get their head out of their ass. Catchers are really, really volatile, particularly in small sample sizes. You never know when they took a pitch off the palm of their glove and can barely grip the bat, or can't feel part of their arm, or are suffering through bruised balls, etc. Jansen projects as an above average catcher both with the glove and bat.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 You're already right. It was an easy bold prediction, the Jays have been hitting like s*** against s*** pitching to start the year. They're hitting as expected against a top-starter, even when his command is awful.
Senior Verified Member Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 So we will be fighting with the Orioles for Rock Bottom. Fighting? The Jays are hands down the worst team in baseball, and it’s not even close. And anyone who thing our fortunes are going to change when Vlad and Bo are called up, will be sorely mistaken.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 Danny Jansen has been throwing bullets all year long. His arm being this good is quite the pleasant surprise.
Pinkfloid Verified Member Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 Watch Thornton get our own no hitter tomorrow
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 Freddy Galvis will break the no-no.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 Jays should piggy back Pannone with Gaviglio, use them sparingly as side sessions.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 Danny Jansen has been throwing bullets all year long. His arm being this good is quite the pleasant surprise. His defense in general has been above expectations thus far. Not too sure about his framing, it's still really early.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 I'm sure he's consistently rated and been regarded as an elite defender despite lack of range. Makes perfect sense. He's a good defender, hardly elite
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 Fighting? The Jays are hands down the worst team in baseball, and it’s not even close. And anyone who thing our fortunes are going to change when Vlad and Bo are called up, will be sorely mistaken. You seem like lots of fun.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 Jays should piggy back Pannone with Gaviglio, use them sparingly as side sessions. Meh, our starting pitching hasn't been an issue (yet). We just need to sneak Grichuk and Smoak out there every at-bat and we'll be fine.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 Freddy Votto coming up boys, we got this.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 Fighting? The Jays are hands down the worst team in baseball, and it’s not even close. And anyone who thing our fortunes are going to change when Vlad and Bo are called up, will be sorely mistaken. Insightful analysis chap.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 His defense in general has been above expectations thus far. Not too sure about his framing, it's still really early. Framing samples normalize quickly, he's good.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 Freddy Galvis has been a f***ing godsend, my god.
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 Freddy Galvis will break the no-no. Good call
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 5, 2019 Author Posted April 5, 2019 I never expected to be this fond of Freddy Galvis.
