Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 This is why people call Machado a **** lol, he had nothing to argue and just gave up on the pitch. Machado just always gives off this loser attitude / body language. Like everything in life should just be handed to him. He appears to be the opposite of a team leader.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 Machado just always gives off this loser attitude / body language. Well, he played in Baltimore...
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 If Grandy hits that ball in August, it's probably gone.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 Oh look Machado being a shitheap again when the pitcher was already in the wind up. I'm sorry. You're right.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 What a catch by Bellinger!
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 Machado being a ******** yet AGAIN, tried to kick Aguilar's legs out from under him, good god. Could've broken his f***ing ankle.
HealthDream007 Verified Member Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 Machado's idol-ing of A-Rod is starting to catch up to him.
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 ahh, there's that Machado we all new and loved from his early O's days. Once a s***-bag, always a s***-bag I guess.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 I hope the Dodgers get s***-canned. Machado is out Utley-ing Utley. What a f***ing punk ass move.
HealthDream007 Verified Member Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 LOL, Joe Buck saying he takes strike 3 right down the middle when the pitch was nowhere near down the middle.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 I would never advocate for a pitcher to intentionally plunk a guy, but I can't say I'd mind if Hader or Knebel beaned him with 98 in the ribs.

As long as it's not at the head area I'd be fine with it. But I don't do it in a game tied at 1-1 in extra innings.
HealthDream007 Verified Member Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 Just to add on, I don't think it's a good idea to do it in the NLCS. Certainly not with not one of your better pitchers.

HealthDream007 Verified Member Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 Machado's idol-ing of A-Rod is starting to catch up to him. LOL, I just remembered A-Rod is on the post game. It won't happen, but it'd be hilarious if they showed A-Rod's slapping of the glove clip as he was talking about the Manny Machado play tonight.
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 Why the f*** did they pitch to bellinger
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 Game 5 is going to be really interesting. It feels like there's going to be a lot of arms unavailable. I don't think Hader has ever gone 3 days in a row, Jansen isn't fully healthy or especially effective atm, plus threw a lot of pitches today, Knebel has thrown 4 of the last 5 days, Peralta threw 47 pitches today, Wood has thrown in 3 of the last 4 which he's not used to. I'm guessing it'll be Woodruff and Jeffress following Miley, maybe Burnes in an emergency (2 innings today, but only 22 pitches). Maybe Baez and Maeda for the Dodgers, although if Kershaw isn't stinking it up it's probably his game for as long as his arm is attached.

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 Why the f*** did they pitch to bellinger Batting .048 in the playoffs before that AB
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2018 Author Posted October 17, 2018 Machado's idol-ing of A-Rod is starting to catch up to him. At least you're seeing it now.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2018 Author Posted October 17, 2018 Batting .048 in the playoffs before that AB Please don't use that narrative in a tiny sample, please.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 Do we all agree that Machado's a **** now? There were a few who weren't sure a couple days ago. I want full buy in folks.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 (edited) Please don't use that narrative in a tiny sample, please. Who was due up after Bellinger if they'd walked him? There were two outs.it's not like there was a benefit of filling 1B in hopes of a double play. Edited October 17, 2018 by G-Snarls

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 I don't know if they can overturn that, but I think Bellinger actually caught it.
