It should be sent to an intermediary then, like you probably. Hold it in escrow until it's sorted, rather than having tercet send it to a charity and then we just take it on faith that he didn't forge a receipt.

What they are taking about is him pocketing the money and not actually upgrading the forum at all. Keeping the forum up costs money. People want to see actual upgrades like a much faster and secure sever which would cost more monthly to whatever basic package that is being used now.

Depends on which one you purchase but probably no more than 10 dollars additional a month. Which with 500 dollars would easily sustain for a few years.

How much would a better server cost?

I don't know the actual numbers we use, but I'm guessing we'd need vBulletin's gold hosting package which would be $60 / month USD plus a $150 transfer fee. I'm also not sure if that includes the actual software license as well ($30 a month maybe?) or just the hosting, or whether it includes DDOS protection and things like that which could be $50/month or more.

Yep the bet is till the end of May, assuming he is in the majors. He could get demoted tonight, tmrw and that invalidates the bet. If he gets demoted Friday (not sure, I probably lose), Grichuck got promoted to Buffalo today.
