AlphaKduB Verified Member Posted March 12, 2018 Posted March 12, 2018 Hello, Looking for 2-3 new owners to join our 10 team CBS Fantasy Dynasty AL Only Keeper League living in Toronto. Two teams are available to take over from owners that have left the league. We can accept another team to start from scratch to get us to 10 teams total. There are going to be good draft-able players even if you are starting from scratch. Our league is 5 years strong and we use CBS to manage the league. $150 entry each year Live Auction, so you must be locally available in Toronto to attend the draft in person on Wednesday, March 28th at 6:30pm in the North York area. Sheppard and 404. AL Only with minors. Some rules of the league and basic details are noted below. We have a full league constitution and we are looking for serious long term owners that want to join this league for the long haul. I am the comish for the league and can share full details of the league upon request. Direct message me if you are interested and we can talk from there. Each team will consist of 23 active players and a maximum of 5 minor leaguers. 1.2. A team's roster consists of the following players: • 5 outfielders • 1 catchers • 1 second baseman • 1 shortstop • 1 second baseman or shortstop (middle infielder) • 1 first baseman • 1 third baseman • 1 first or third baseman (corner infielder) • 1 designated hitter • 1 Utility hitter • 9 pitchers (any combination of starters and relievers) • 0-4 minor league players 1.3. There is a minimum innings requirement for all staffs of 900 innings. Any team that does not achieve 900 innings will be placed last in the categories of ERA and WHIP. AUCTION 2.1. Each team must acquire 23 players at a total cost not to exceed $260 (not real money). A team need not spend the maximum. 2.2. Teams will nominate players for acquisition in random order. 2.3. The following players are eligible for the major league auction: • Any players who are on a major league roster including their AL affiliate teams. STANDINGS 7.1. The following criteria are used to determine team performance: • Composite Batting Average • Total Runs Scored • Total Home Runs • Total Runs Batted In • Total Stolen Bases • Total Wins • Total Saves • Composite Earned Run Average • Composite pitching ratio of walks and hits to innings pitched (WHIP = (BB + H)/IP) • Total Strikeouts 7.2. Teams are ranked from first to last in each of the ten categories, and given points for each place. For example, in a fifteen-team league, the first-place team in a category receives fifteen points, the second-place team fourteen, and so on down to one point for last place. The team with the most total points wins the pennant.
CrackerJack Verified Member Posted March 12, 2018 Posted March 12, 2018 looks almost exactly like the last rotisserie league I participated in back in 1985 haha ... except we used K/BB ratio instead of just totals Ks and it wasn't a dynasty league. Good times! Mattingly & Brett had monster years for me.
