Its not so much higher ratings but the cost involved. They need to send a whole crew for each ST game aired, it doesn't cost them anything to replay top 50 plays on the month for the 300th time.

It's a rough time for people like me, who f***ing hate hockey and are indifferent to the NBA.

 

March 10th is a ways off. Here's hoping they announce a couple more broadcasts over the coming week.

Looking at the mlb.tv spring training schedule there is one game vs. the Phillies on March 4th broadcasted by NBCSP+. That's it before March 10th.

I wish they'd just set up some fixed cameras at the parks and webcast the ones without proper coverage. No need for anything fancy or expensive.
