Why does Smoltz keep gushing over Sonny Gray? He had a near 1:1 ball to strike ratio. Getting lucky that more balls didn't find holes doesn't mean there was nothing more he could have done.

 

Normally I like Smoltz but Sonny Gray is terrible. Just accept it.
