It's hard to judge on that particular play, he had to make a quick turn and probably rushed it. I saw one scouting report that graded his arm as a 60 so I'm willing to give him a pass on that one.

Thought so. Me too. The slider destroys people sometimes but if he misses or f***s with the cutter with no FB they have to respect he gets lit up.

It's a bit of an overstatement to call it a tough year - he's 4th in WAR and 3rd in FIP for relievers. Which is better than Andrew Miller for example.
